Peek a boo Midriff

Baring the midriff returns to fashion. Don't call it a comeback, it's been here for years! Flaunting your stylish midsection is sexy and stylish. As a 80's baby, the midriff was primarily for youngsters. Fashion creativity modernized the trend by taking a new peek into the midriff style.

A sliver of skin surely will not kill the outdated. Midriffs can still add a touch of sophistication. Plus, baring the abdomen is another fashion glimpse into the female anatomy! You don't need perfect abs to sport some skin; however, be cautious. A six pack is totally unnecessary but donut rolls is not debatable. Every fashionista can take part in this curve ball trend!

Midriffs compliment well with jeans and a high-waisted skirt. Rekindle this old style with poise. A cropped midriff with jeans works well for a shopping outfit. The chic midriff look is getting dolled up with a high-waisted skirt and midriff top for a Spring picnic. I like Tory Burch's collection of sandals and B Brian Atwood heels for the glam look. Midriffs is nothing new under the sun!

Pastel Color Cupcake Shop

Breezing down the catwalks in New York, Paris, London and Milan, the Spring cupcake looks of fashion are here. Pastels breath new life and refresh your look. Soft pastel palettes will rule as the season's finest trend. The works of Louis Vuitton, Givenchy,  Valentino, and Mulberry advertised the beauty of pastel colors. The rainbow of pastels remind me of cupcakes!

Pastels arouse a soft feminine instinct and brings out the girlish side. From lilac, pinkalicious, blue ivy blue, peachy peach, lemonade lemon, to mint green, be versatile and mix&match pastel hues. For example, collaborate pinkalicious with blue ivy or a navy blue. Work pastel coordinates into your style with neutrals like camel and stone shades.

Everyone loves cupcakes so have fun with your pastel cupcakes. A casual pastel movie night may call for pink or neutral oxfords. To entertain the likes of good company, a silver heel will compliment your pastel style. Experiment with cupcake looking bracelets and necklaces. Pamper the face lightly. Do not turn into the Easter bunny with too much eyeshadow or blush. Overall, the pastel cupcake look is truly breezy for Spring!

Peplum Kaboom

Sprinting backwards in fashion, the peplum was a fascinating 1940's fashion trend. The peplum look is officially the comeback kid. In fashion, history also repeats itself. This is an all-around classic trend that accentuate your hips. In the words of Shakira, "hips don't lie."

Peplum adds flare to the waist. Emphasize your extraordinary physique with a banging peplum shirt, dress or skirt. Either piece will complete the job! When selecting peplum, choose one to emphasize your body attributes. Undoubtedly, this is a sophisticated look.

The peplum is a flirty look. Instantly, eyes gaze at your waistline. If you have not done so already, upgrade your wardrobe with peplum pieces. Designers like Givenchy and Badgley Mischka introduced fabulous peplum wear for this Spring's Ready to Wear. The structural silhouette adorns the hips. I love my peplum pieces!

Cut Out above the Edge

At the Spring Ready to Wear fashion shows, models showed off designers cut-out pieces for 2012. The pieces revealed a little chest here and a little abdomen there, absolutely breathtaking. Moderately baring skin is mainly the reason for fascination with cut-outs. Not to mention, cut outs are super sexy. Designers embraced the trend with amazing pieces for any bold trendsetter.

Years ago, cut outs reaped the label as unorthodox fashion. It was considered a trend for hippies or punk rockers. Well, not anymore. Designers buried the traditional fashion myths by creating pieces that represent glam and sex appeal. Ciara's brown Emilio Pucci cut out dress sparked a heat wave with cut outs on her abs, torso and chest. Madam Check! Cut outs afford you an opportunity to accentuate your assets with a taste and sophistication.

If your seeking a "look at me" trend, a cut out does the trick. Celebrities love this trend! Less is more. So, do not wear too many accessories with a cut-out dress. The dress is the statement. Become sultry by highlighting your favorite areas of skin plus let your foot work complete the mission. Be bold and brazen with a cut above the rest!

Femininity Tapered Tux

The antiquated resemblance of a tuxedo was formal menswear. Thank goodness for modern fashion, which shifted the tuxedo game to women. A stylist woman in a sexy tuxedo jacket is significant enough to mesmerize a ballroom. The tailored tux with a crisp button-down is quite an ensemble. Because a tux denotes a formal event, a madam must hold the keys to her kingdom if rocking out the tux look.

Tuxedo womenswear deserves a standing ovation. From celebrities such as Rihanna  to actresses like Sarah Jessica Parker, the tuxedo is gravitating to mainstream. In Sex in the City 2, Sarah Jessica Parker toughen the wedding with her Christian Dior tux. Designers craft unique details to suite female players. When your decked out in a tux, it's a necessary that you're clean as a wolf and cold as ice. No half stepping!

A crisp white shirt is pertinent with a tux. Pair with shorts, a pencil skirt or satin pants. Rachel Zoe supported the tux trend as her favorite. This look is a crossover into 2012. Fraternize with your shirt by showing a little cleavage or flossing a custom necklace. Don't forget your red alert lipstick. This is the perfect look for a formal dinner, nightlife action or a wedding. Take a bow, we acquired a masculine trend. Now, who wear the pants?!!

Pretty as a Tangerine

Pantone officially announced tangerine is the 2012 fashion color. A zesty hue of the orange and red family is lighting up runways. With new year retail therapy, keep an eye on tangerine pieces. Because I am a dress fanatic, I prefer wearing a tangerine dress. Although, a trendsetter never limits the opportunity to be versatile.

Hold no punches with tango tangerine. Snag stylish pieces early because this color is a powerhouse. Beyonce was dolled up in a tangerine Lanvin dress at last year's MTV Video Music Awards. Madam Check! Remember, the color was simply reintroduced last year but tangerine is making hedge way in 2012.

A tangerine look craves a beauty enhancement.  Deborah Lippmann offers two tangerine mix nail lacquer...."Lara's Theme or "Brick House." Also, MAC Morange lipstick is a fine orange color to brighten your pout.  Incorporate another hue to spice up your look such as the famous cobalt blue. If you wear tangerine right, you will officially get the Brick House kudos.
